 Job Title:LANDesk Systems Administrator
 Company:ITSolutions, LLC
 Description:The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the technical planning, support and the administration of the production Desktop system environment.  This will include system management, system installation, and security/configuration management of the production environment. 
  • Responsible to validate and test new system configurations based on Application Software or Operating System changes. 
  • Maintain technical documentation and production operational procedures.
  • Documentation & resolution of customer complaints or system related issues escalated to the appropriate support teams.
  • Conduct timely analysis, coordination, and resolution of production problems with guidance from engineering staff.
  • Coordinate directly with operations and development support teams on production issues.
  • Perform on-demand maintenance to diagnose, propose, and implement solutions to problems.
  • Assure appropriate version control for production environment.·        
  • Responsible for all aspects of systems patch management, using LANDesk and other similar tools to successfully push out and install software and system patches to a large enterprise (i.e. a federal government agency). 
  • Perform and executes after hours production coverage in accordance with the on-call roster. 

 Qualifications  Experience:·        

  • 5 years experience with LANDesk technologies, Software deployment and distribution / patching of systems across the enterprise·        
  • 5 years experience with Windows Desktop software technology to include system administration, file interchange, Knowledge of Windows, registry, and Windows security·        
  • 5 years experience with computer programming languages: like Perl/C/C++/Java/VB and strong windows script knowledge.·        
  • 5 years experince with implementing, planning and managing desktop imaging tools (Ghost)
