 Description:

 The Remote Access Administrator will be responsible for providing technical and administrative support to resolve customer support issues and services as they relate to Remote Access monitoring, performance, server and user account administration.        

  • Handle advanced Windows NT/2000/2003 server and client operating system related trouble calls, such as those concerning login errors, mail connectivity, trusts, wide area connectivity, name resolution issues, and server problems.         
  • Employ professional phone etiquette and note taking; resolving issue or escalating to senior technician.        
  • Use available resources to research issues and develop solutions/improvements to system.        
  • Install backup software and agents, configure and schedule complex backup jobs.         
  • Install workstation and server operating systems, applications, and server software (Citrix MetaFrame, SafeNet, etc) service packs, hot fixes, and special software patches.        
  • Diagnose and correct Windows Terminal Server, Citrix Metaframe and SafeNet Speed/LAN device problems.         
  • Identify and operate all components of the client’s Secure Dial-In system, diagnose and correct most problems, including configuring new profile/rule-sets allowing access to network resources        
  • Knowledge and promotion of security posture for SDDI and connected resources and must be able to identify security shortcomings and correct such deficiencies.         
  • Work on new projects as assigned by senior management.  

Qualifications  Experience:

  • 2 Years of Neoteris configuration and administration (Firewall)
  • 2 Years BlackBerry Enterprise Server and Device configuration and administration
  • 2 Years Citrix Metaframe configuration and administration
  • MCSE Windows 2000 Server, Cisco CCNA, Citrix CAN
