 Job Title:PMO Business Analyst

 Description:This PMO Business Analyst will work in the EN PMO to help manage the EN projects. He/she will be capable of formulating a plan and then to successfully execute this plan to complete the tasks.  This position requires the Analyst to determine what is necessary as well as create those artifacts to execute and complete all tasks.  This includes creating, formatting and preparing complex project deliverables on time with minimum errors.  These documents will have many imbedded graphics, tables, diagrams and pictures. The PMO BA will work with other project team members (both company and government) to determine the requirements. Some of the specific tasks include but are not limited to:
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings such as MLGB, Dry Runs with PMs for MLGB
  • Upload and maintain documents on SharePoint
  • Scribe minutes during meetings, document action items and track to completion
  • Manage deadline driven data calls – communicate requirements by email, respond to inquiries, track responses, consolidate responses, secure approvals and submit final report to requesting office
  • Responsible for change control process in updating EN services catalog on an annual basis, update BPPs (manually driven)
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries on the EN PMO mailbox and phone line
  • Assist in quarterly reviews of the EN PMO project list and project portfolio under governance
  • Assist in the production of the monthly EN Executive Dashboard report
  • Coordinate training logistics (i.e, EN ELC 30-minute training, 30-minute security training, etc.)
  • Assist in gathering data and analyze projects as needed (i.e., UWR review board, revising EN PMO projects list)
  • Attend meetings on behalf of EN PMO interest; capture minutes and brief Program Manage of any actionable items
  • Update Health Assessments/Governance
  • Develop process and procedures

Experience:

  • 5 years of professional or consulting work experience in IT or related environment
  • 5 years experience with project management methodologies and acumen
  • 5 years experience working with IT lifecycle methodologies and supporting documentation
  • 3 years experience with Microsoft Project or equivalent tool
  • 3 years experience working with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Visio
  • Experience with document management tools such as SharePoint is highly desirable
  • Experience working onsite in a government client setting is highly desirable
  • Experience working with infrastructure projects such as telecommunications is highly desirable

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to clearly articulate technical ideas and designs (be prepared to give examples)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Must be a team player and be able to work within all levels of a project team
  • Ability to interface with all levels of the government client project team
  • Excellent time management, scheduling, and organizational skills
  • Understand project management methodologies and be able to integrate standard terminology into project deliverables
  • Ability to work well independently as well as follow detailed instructions for completing tasks

Education, Degrees, Certifications:

  • BS Degree desired
  • Ability to pass Minimum Background Investigation (MBI)
